The Creators of Pam's Tasty Treats

Owners Pamela Fields and Bernie Frueh consider themselves baddass freeze dried treat connoisseurs. After launching Pam's Tasty Treats several years ago, these self-made candyoloigists can't keep themselves out of the candy lab! They use the term 'candy lab' because freeze drying is an experimental and inventive opportunity to create super fun and unique edibles!

Pam's Tasty Treats bring you all the delicious goodness you love in hand-packed packages. The Fruity Crunch, Sour Fruity Crunch, and Lemon Crunch are the most popular, and the freeze-dried taffy is a favorite in various flavors like cotton candy, buttered popcorn, and watermelon.

At the holidays, marshmallows are a big hit in mixed bags for Easter plus some candy corn at Halloween, and don't miss out on the newly added limited-time batch of Black & Gold Spicy, using a blend of fresh freeze-dried peppers infused with the candy which creates a pepper jelly heat.

Since Bernie is a charter fishing boat guide down in Venice, Louisiana, and Pam manages a hunting and fishing lodge, many folks ask how they found themselves in the freeze-dry treat-making biz.

Simply put, they bought a freeze dryer, did a LOT of research, and hit the jackpot of fun! Together, Bernie and Pam learned quickly what flavors and foods work and which ones didn't live up to the freeze. But the biggest thing they found was that they had a blast creating Freeze Dried Treats, especially sharing their products with family and friends like you!
